PRISONERS OF WAR

Me and my mom had a pretty nice life until hitler rose into power. one day i was playing jacks and my mom yelled and i ran into my home and there was a nazi officer and they were taking my mother. Immediatly after that a nazie officer grabbed me and told me i was coming with him. I asked if id be able to see my mom again and he told me no. After that he took me outside and i saw the rest of the neighborhood with a nazi officer as well. We were stuffed into a train cart with tons of other people and no room to breathe. They didnt feed us for the first couple of days until they threw a loaf of bread in probably the third day. Many people started going crazy and even killing themselves. I was very miserable especially being alone i was scared. Finally when we arived at camp it was a relief but at the same time i knew things werent getting any better. Life in the concentration camps were terrible. The nazis were killing people in gas chambers and even ovens. Food was rare at camp. We would get old dirty bowls of soup and nasty bread every couple days. Everyone was becoming really thin. The camp was full of dead bodies rotting away which created an awful stench as you can imagine. They had us vigorously working day and night for reasons of which we weren't allowed to know. It was me in a room one time with a bunch of kids because they wanted to do experiments on us (which they said we were allowed to go home bur wasn't true) so the 12 of us went to 8 and the four kids that were taken away never came back. some of us were dying in the winter but luckily i had a friend who didn't eat because there was no hope for him so he gave me his share too. We i came out of the daeth camp i didn't know how long I was there but i came out but unfortuantely Mom and Dad didn't so after the camp i got a job and married a women named laura and had 2 children.
